Some tips for the peer review task and final report

 Hi,

As we are approaching almost the end of the assignments, I would like to make sure that you all understand the last assignments.
This week's assignment is for you to choose a Peer Review Partner, which you have already done and attached you will have the document with your names and partners. If someone does not submit the report and you are left with no report to review,  please send me an email and let me know.

Peer Review Partner

The very last assignment, which is very important as it is part of the final examination, needs also considerable time.
The first draft of your reflective essay/report will be uploaded on the Dropbox under Week 11 according to the respective deadlines for group A and B. Then your partner will work with your essay by activating the Track changes option on the Word document in order for their work and insert comments to be visible. In the end of the page you will also write a summary of your opinion for what you read and what needs to be changed. Then the peer review partner will submit their work by Thursday (24h of June). Do not forget to submit the report that you have reviewed under Week 12 with a folder with your name and not under the name of the person who wrote the report.
The images below show where to find the tracking option and for adding comments.

Regarding the reflective essay/report: you already know how to write an essay or report and you will have to respect its normal structure, such as the introduction, the body of the text and the conclusion. The final essay/report will be a combination of all the theoretical material that you have read for this class and the practical skills and knowledge that you have acquired while carrying out all your assignments including your teaching experience (which has been GREAT 😀). You can go over your posts, your journal entries, the materials that we have discussed to include them in your essay/report. The steps, which have been your weekly assignments, will also guide your writing and they should be also accompanied with findings and opinions from your readings. Pay attention to plagiarism and to cite the source!
So, your reflective essay or report should not only be a description of what you did but it should be an analysis of everything that was included in this course. It should be like "a rear-view mirror". This is a term that is widely used to make sure that everyone has a chance to reflect back on what they have done or "travelled through" during this course. If there is something that you liked or dislikes, provide reasons why; if there is something that you found effective or nor please provide reasons either from the Blog posts that you have read from other friends or your own posts or even from the readings of the materials that are uploaded under the Lecture folder. Everything has to be supported with arguments to support your opinions expressed in that report. The report should have a maximum of 1200 words.
In the end, do not forget the bibliography, which will also be a list of the apps and programs that you used for the teaching class.

If you think that you still do not know what to do please comment to this post or post a comment on TEAMS!

Keep up the excellent work that you have done so far!  Do not forget you last Blog post and comment!

Best,
T :)

Final step

Dear all,  I wish that everything is going well. We have reached the end of our class and this is the very last week of a very long and challenging academic year. I was pleased to teach the same course but with different students and personalities and it gives so much joy and motivates me to further my work.  This is not the last post but it is the last time that I give instructions for your assignments. You finished last week with your peer review task and you have now your report to refine and finish. You are supposed to upload them in the Dropbox by the end of the week. The deadline for this will be Sunday midnight.  Then it is my turn to read them all along with the other assignments and everything that you have done during this course.  I would like to wish you the best of success with your exams. Best,  T :)

The rest of the assignments

Hello again,  Congratulations to all the groups that have finished with the their mock teaching sessions. You have all displayed your abilities as future teachers and you have done that quite skilfully. What I would really like from you at this point is to become more independent students and not to expect everything from the teachers. With regard to the assignments that are left for the rest of the term, please refer again to the list of assignments and the class calendar, especially for the deadlines. Let me repeat again that all the assignments have to be uploaded in the Dropbox under the relevant weeks. The previous weeks have been removed from the Dropbox so that there will not be any problems with the uploading, however, they are stored in my PC.  We agreed that you upload the assignments of the last two weeks but you will not get full points.  Since we also agreed that the rest of the Blog posts will be topics that you will choose yourself, I would like to r...
